VCU Safetycentre recently replaced the anchor wires on the HEBO LIFT 10. As the vessel was located in an area that could not be accessed by truck, an alternative logistical solution was required. All necessary materials were loaded onto a pontoon and transported to the vessel with the assistance of a tugboat. This approach enabled the work to be carried out safely and efficiently on site.
Replacing anchor wires requires careful planning and safe execution.
