Manufacturing
The manufacturing of complete fishing nets is carried out in full consultation with the customer. All designs are stored and maintained in a dedicated netting software program. The netting department is also responsible for providing expert advice and performing various calculations related to netting and fishing gear. Over the years, the department has built up extensive knowledge across a wide range of fishing methods. Thanks to VCU Maritime’s use of the most advanced simulation software, designs for various fishing techniques can be realistically simulated.
