VCU TCD has developed a machine that enables the automatic preservation (dipping) of your langoustines. This offers the advantage of reducing the labor intensity of the processing, as fewer manual actions are required.
The machine consist of the following components
- Collector/buffer filled with water (optionally cooled)
- Inclined conveyor
- Immersion tank with rotating drum
- Discharge conveyor for transporting the langoustines out of the system
