Urgent job for DUC Diving: VCU Maritime delivers swift craftsmanship

On Thursday afternoon, we received an urgent request from DUC Diving: the multifunctional work vessel RAM needed its anchor chains reversed as a matter of urgency. On Friday morning, our specialists were ready to carry out the job.

However, during the unspooling it became clear that the existing chains were severely worn. Without wasting any time, the crew at our home base in Urk immediately took action. New certified anchor chains were professionally prepared the very same day.

With the help of our VCU truck and hydraulic reel installation, the chains were transported to the harbor and wound under tension. Thanks to this swift collaboration and flexible deployment, the RAM can start work in Cuxhaven, Germany, as scheduled on Monday.

VCU Maritime once again proves that we stand for quick response and skilled delivery.
