VCU levert hijskabels voor bijzonder hijsproject in de Waalhaven

VCU hoisting cables in the Waalhaven played a central role during an impressive logistics project in the Waalhaven. For unloading a transport of eleven inland vessels of 10,000 tons for Rensen-Driessen, three floating sheerlegs from HEBO and Bonn & Mees were deployed. A complex and highly precise operation that lasted more than three days.

For these heavy lifting operations, VCU supplied and installed the hoisting cables used during the project. In operations of this scale, reliable hoisting cables are indispensable. Safety, precision, and continuity are crucial for a successful execution.

VCU as a specialist in hoisting cables for heavy operations

With the supply and installation of these hoisting cables, VCU made a direct contribution to the safe and efficient execution of this challenging operation. Especially in heavy lifting projects, it is essential that materials continue to perform under high loads and offer maximum reliability.

The work in the Waalhaven demonstrates what VCU stands for: specialized knowledge, reliable lifting solutions, and support for projects where there is no room for error.

VCU is proud of its contribution to the Waalhaven project

VCU looks back with pride on this special deployment in the Waalhaven. Thanks to our expertise in hoisting cables and lifting solutions, we were able to contribute to the successful execution of this large-scale logistics operation. A project that perfectly illustrates the value VCU adds to complex lifting operations in the maritime sector.
