The UK-172 “Sursum Corda” has spent the past few weeks in the port of IJmuiden undergoing scheduled maintenance and various technical upgrades
During this maintenance period, VCU TCD installed two new Volvo Penta D13 auxiliary engines. Equipped with an AdBlue system, these engines contribute to reliable and efficient operations on board. In addition, the generators were overhauled to ensure optimal performance of the vessel’s power systems.
VCU Safetycentre also carried out a hull thickess measurement as part of the five-year inspection required by the Netherlands Human Environment and Transport Inspectorate (ILT)
With these works completed, the UK-172 is ready for the period ahead. We would like to thank the crew and owners for their trust in our services.
