HEBO P101 fitted with new towing equipment in Riga

VCU recently fully rigged HEBO’s HEBO P101 pontoon and fitted it with a complete new set of towing equipment. For this project, two rigging specialists travelled by truck from the Netherlands to Riga, Latvia: a journey of no less than 1,850 kilometres each way to carry out the work on site.

Reliable rigging is essential for the safe and efficient operation of a pontoon. The towing equipment must be able to withstand heavy loads and a wide range of conditions. It is therefore important that all components are carefully selected, installed and inspected. This ensures that the equipment can be used safely during future operations.

In Riga, VCU’s specialists fully rigged the HEBO P101. The new set of towing equipment was professionally installed and inspected, ensuring that the pontoon was ready for operation again. Thanks to thorough preparation and the materials brought to the site, the work could be carried out efficiently on location.

The project has now been successfully completed and delivered. With its new rigging and complete set of towing equipment, the HEBO P101 is ready for its next assignment. Through specialist expertise, tailored solutions and on-site service, VCU supports customers with rigging projects in the Netherlands and abroad.
