What we stand for

Fisheries Cooperative Urk has been a well-known name in the maritime world for over 100 years. VCU was founded in 1922. The main goal of the founders was to pool the demand for gas oil and greases, allowing them to purchase these collectively and at lower cost as an organization.

Mission

We are an organization dedicated to the supply and development of the professional commercial fishing industry both domestically and internationally, as well as maritime sectors such as sea and inland shipping, the dredging industry, and industrial enterprises. A brief ‘mooring’ at VCU should be enough to equip your vessel with all the necessary products in one go.

Vision

Providing all common services and products to the European maritime sector, with a particular focus on the Dutch commercial fishing industry.
