New squid net from VCU increases catch area by 30%
16 June 2025VCU Maritime has developed an innovative squid net that opens up to 30% higher than traditional nets. The design is applicable to various net configurations and suitable as an upgrade for existing nets. The first net has been produced and is ready for deployment in the upcoming squid season.
