10 July 2025Urk has gained 22 sailors and 17 skippers. During a festive graduation ceremony on Saturday, July 5, students from Firda’s inland shipping program received their well-deserved diplomas.

9 July 2025VCU has been awarded the contract to supply and install a complete VCU CatchProcessing System on board two new trawlers being built by Parkol Marine Engineering. These vessels are commissioned by Lockers Trawlers, a joint venture of UK Fisheries.
