10 July 2025For cutter O-231 Den Hoope of Rederij De Viertorre, VCU TCD has built two completely renewed SumWings. This latest generation was designed by HFK Engineering, with the focus on maximum efficiency, minimal seabed impact, and optimal reliability.

Supply and installation of the VCU CatchProcessing system
9 July 2025VCU has been awarded the contract to supply and install a complete VCU CatchProcessing System on board two new trawlers being built by Parkol Marine Engineering. These vessels are commissioned by Lockers Trawlers, a joint venture of UK Fisheries.

New squid net from VCU increases catch area by 30%
16 June 2025VCU Maritime has developed an innovative squid net that opens up to 30% higher than traditional nets. The design is applicable to various net configurations and suitable as an upgrade for existing nets. The first net has been produced and is ready for deployment in the upcoming squid season.
